ESPN online

Thanks for the post, Arthur Lawrence

My husband loves to look at ESPN online. He is a teacher, and every morning before he goes to work he watches Sportscenter on TV. While he is at work, he checks ESPN online in between each class. He says that it is because he wants to keep up with player injuries for his fantasy football team. When he gets home from work each evening, I feel like we have a race for the TV. I get really tired and bored watching sports all the time. We decided to get wildblue satellite internet so he could look at ESPN online and manage his fantasy football team at home. It’s not that I want him to have any more access to sports than he already does, but at least we won’t be fighting over the TV remote in the evenings because he can look online while I watch what I want to. I told him that he cannot have the TV and the computer focused on sports at the same time because that is not fair to me. We will see if he follows the rules.

ESPN3, formerly known as ESPN360, has revolutionized watching television online with exclusive content for Internet viewers. This year's Women's World Cup soccer tournament in Germany was seen line via ESPN3. Other media outlets have followed in its footsteps. It's only a matter of time before you see major events, like the Men's World Cup, Super Bowl, the World Series and the Olympics online.
