Tiger Takedown!

Guest written by our friend Mason Abbott

Good thing that we got direct TV just in time for college football season. Now we can watch the LSU Tigers in high definition. I am from Baton Rouge and have bleed yellow and purple a long time before I went to school there. Now, I love the Tigers even more and consider them one of the best college football teams. While I make it to every home game, I make sure that I watch every away game on television with all of my friends. We grill out, move the television outside, drink as much beer as we would if we were at the game, and have a great time. It has been a couple of years since we won a National Championship, but I believe that the Tigers are going to be back on top soon. We are definitely in the toughest conference in the country, there is no doubt about that! Whether the Tigers are winning or losing I will always be supporting them and won’t miss a game ( even if I do watch it on TV)!

Thanks, Mason!

Looks like LSU has a fast track to the BCS Championship game. Despite losing their starting quarterback to suspension, head coach Les Miles has kept the ship going, with big victories against Oregon, Mississippi State and Florida. It only gets tougher the next two weeks, as they take on defending national champion, Auburn at home and then on the road against Alabama.

Will they head to the Superdome for a home field BCS Championship Game, find out later this fall!
