It was 2007 when the Miami Dolphins endured one of their worst seasons in franchise history, going 1-15 on the season. Back then, the coach was Nick Saban, who high-tailed it to Alabama. His replacement was Tony Sparano, who led the team the next season to an 11-5 record, a division title and a playoff birth. The next three seasons, they would struggle in the middle of the pack in the AFC East. But this season, it seems like a scene from the movie, "Groundhog Day". At 0-6, the Dolphins, are about to see history repeat itself. This time, Sparano is on the hot seat, and with the bye week looming, we may have seen that last of him. In all likelihood, Miami will be looking at the first pick in next year's draft. And that's not a bad thing. Because the Dolphins haven't had a quality quarterback since Dan Marino retired. Here's hoping for another 1-15 season.
Last week, we recovered from our dismal performance. With a couple of pick 'em games this weekend, we may be in for another rough one!
