Week 8 - A Season in Hell

With Halloween approaching, there no other team that could describe a scarier season than the Indianapolis Colts. Just two years removed from their second Super Bowl appearance in 5 years, they've collapsed under the weight of what could be described as, "too much snow on the roof." A season without Peyton Manning is starting to look obvious. Without a "Plan B", an opportunity to host the Super Bowl in their own building has been eliminated. Not to say that it was preventable, but any other coach and/or GM in the NFL would have had a qualified backup quarterback in place to run the system. They should have known this the moment Peyton went under the knife after the end of the season and before the lockout started. The questions now being asked are, how many losses will it take to get Andrew Luck in the draft?  Even so, will they keep him and trade Peyton?

Last week was another brutal week against the spread. A third bye week may be more predictable, given the large point spreads in games.
