Fantasy Football Results - Week 9

Choirboys 67
Metal Maniacs 58

LeShean McCoy (16 carries for 71 yards and a TD [117 total yards]) led all scorers with 17 points, as the Choirboys defeated the Maniacs and took sole possession of 1st place in the league.  The loss dropped the Maniacs into a tie for third place with First Down Syndrome.

Polarbear Express 105
First Down Syndrome 108

Julio Jones (3 catches for 131 yards and 2 TD’s for 28 points) and Drew Brees (27-36 for 258 yards, 2 TD’s and an INT for 23 points) put up top numbers for the Express, but it wasn’t enough as First Down Syndrome squeezed a three point victory and moved into the fourth and final spot with five games to go.  Despite the loss, the Express maintain their half game lead in their division.

10th street titans 81
Missouri Crushers 83

Receivers Brandon Marshall (8 catches for 106 yards and a TD for 16 points) and Jordy Nelson (5 catches for 105 yards and a TD for 16 points) led the way, as the Crushers continue their miracle run without a quarterback with another upset victory; this time, over the titans.  The titans fall a game outside the final spot for the Championship round.

Fumbles and Stumbles 115
Autobots 72

Two big games from Aaron Rodgers (21-26 for 247 yards and 4 TD’s for 38 points) and Willis McGahee (20 carries for 163 yards and 2 TD’s for 28 points) gave the hard charging Fumbles a decisive victory over the Autobots.  The loss drops last year’s runner-up one and a half games behind the league leader.

Kittycat365 83
WITD Radio 115

Philip Rivers scored 30 points (26-46 for 385 yards, 4 TD’s and 3 INT’s), as WITD Radio gave Kittycat365 their third straight loss.  In all, six players were in double figures for WITD Radio, who won their fourth in a row.

PVR Wasted Bandwidth 102
Green-Ellis & Ham 67

Vincent Jackson (7 catches for 141 yards and 3 TD’s for 32 points) led PVR to a convincing victory over Green-Ellis & Ham. The loss ruined Green-Ellis & Ham’s chance to take the top spot in the division.  Despite the loss, they stay a half game behind the Express, tied with the Fumbles.

The SJM ThunderCats 88
Tackling Dummies 72

Matt Ryan scored 25 points (14-24 for 275 yards, 3 TD’s and an INT), as the ThunderCats handed the Dummies their seventh loss in their last eight games.  Ben Tate, a free agent pick-up two weeks ago, continued his worth for the Cats (12 carries for 115 yards and a TD), scoring 17 points.
