Week 12 - When I See Tebow, I See Flutie!

All this flub about Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow is unjustified. I've heard it all before. It's the same excuses I heard when another former Heisman Trophy winner came on the scene in the mid-80, Doug Flutie. They said he was 'too short', 'he couldn't throw the ball long', 'he runs too much.' To be honest, I'm sick of the naysayers! Tim Tebow can play quarterback. He's got a 4-1 record. And if he leads Denver to the playoffs, and it's a strong possibility given the weak AFC West, they'll be proven wrong. Let the guy prove himself, for crying out loud!

Last week, we recovered, somewhat. It's Thanksgiving weekend and that means the traditional Detroit game. With the Lions finally relevant again and the Green Bay Packers coming to town, the game finally has meaning again. Wherever you are, have a safe Thanksgiving!
