The Houston Texans are finally division champions. They did it in style by beating the Cincinnati Bengals with :02 seconds left in Sunday's game. My pick to win during the pre-season, they survived losing both their starting and back up quarterbacks (Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart) and their number 1 over all pick from 2006, Mario Williams. They'll have to work with a rookie quarterback, T.J. Yates for the playoffs. If anything, this will give the team something to build on for the future. With Indianapolis being a mess and Tennessee and Jacksonville rebuilding with new quarterbacks, I can see the Texans becoming a force in the AFC South for years to come.
Last week, we improved one game better than last week. We were correct on our Giants winning against the Cowboys. This week will be Indianapolis' best chance to put up a "W" for the year. Otherwise, they'll be staring at 0-16 allot more closer with three weeks left in the season.
